Gender & STEM Network Conference

Conference Overview

The first Gender and STEM Educational and Occupational Pathways and Participation Network Conference was held on 5 & 6 September 2012 in Haarlem, the Netherlands. Professor Jacquelynne Eccles from the University of Michigan launched the network at the conference. More than 80 researchers and policy makers who are concerned with the subject attended the symposia. The conference brought together academics, teachers, policy makers, experts and the public to explore the missing pieces of the ‘jigsaw puzzle’: what do we not yet know that we need to, concerning girls/women and STEM?

And/or: What do policy-makers and project/program managers need to know to design effective policy measures, programs/projects? Network members are invited to post their ideas on the forum (after login).
